Welcome to episode 2 of “US… What’s New, What’s Next”, our curated space for brands we see moving the needle across streetwear right now, check out episode one (HERE). From the heavily-hyped to the quietly-crafted, we’ve chosen pieces that resonated with us, both for what they say and how they look. Shot by us, styled by us, modeled by us. This is culture from our POV. Produced and styled by Nicole Ranger & Neesha Badass, Modelled by Tuhan Taylor and Photographed by Jos Whiteman
Brigade US
Leading this Month’s curation is Brigade US, with a potent mix of resistance, heritage, and New York attitude. At the core is the El Padre Zip Knit Hoodie, a warm reinterpretation of an American staple, built from long-staple cotton yarns and embroidered with the original Puerto Rican flag. The hoodie doesn’t just fit perfectly but it tells a story. One of identity, resilience, and pride. The design hits different when you know the context. The 1895 Puerto Rican flag was once a symbol of defiance against Spanish rule. After colonisation by the U.S., its colours were tweaked to downplay the rebellion. Brigade flips it back. This is a flag worn loud.
It’s paired with their Ripstop Camo Mountain Pants, inspired by the P44 Monkey Pants used by the US Marines. Built from midweight cotton with all the utility trimmings, adjustable waists, multiple cargo pockets, embroidered detailing, this is technical wear filtered through NYC sensibility. We covered the Brigade’s Spring/Summer ’25 drop here and they have been consistently crushing with their visuals.
This outfit is finished with the New York staple 6-inch Timberland boot. The OG waterproof, injected-sole silhouette born in 1973 for workers. Reinvented in every way possible you can’t beat streetwear’s most reliable foundation, still kicking strong.

SCRT
Next up we have SCRT with their SS25 Montauk Capsule. The independent British streetwear brand started in a House on a Hill, London in 2010. SCRT® started as a self-funded project, working with local artists to produce short runs of exclusive print-wear. In the years since, the label has grown & developed into a forward-thinking powerhouse. Their store is a must visit in London with each piece carefully curated. We picked out the Lacuna® Inc Football Jersey, saturated with nostalgia, sci-fi, and this glitchy design. Definitely on trend for summer paired paired with their Gridstop Wide Pleated Shorts in Black. This fit is definitetly a little more bold that some would wear but perfectly blends together the SCRT aesthetic with a summer edge.
We partnered this fit with the Staple Varick.01. An elevated daily wear from Jeff Staples brand. Since moving into in-house silhouettes Staple has gone from strength to strength but the Varick.01 deserves its flowers. Named after one of Manhattan’s most historic streets, it’s a luxury function sneaker with layered cushioning and details that matter.

Chet Rock
Focused on comfort and punchy design, Chet Rock delivers with the Restless Energy Jumper, a heavyweight, oversized crew neck that doesn’t just look good, it feels good too. The Jacquard print runs in monochrome, making this piece a wearable statement with just the right amount of edge. Its soft-touch blend makes it an easy go-to whether you’re layering up like we did styling it solo for a laid-back fit. Designed with a naturally boxy silhouette, this jumper leans into modern proportions while keeping things intentionally oversized.
Keeping it baggy we paired this with their baggy skate shorts for that bold, workwear-inspired attitude. Finished in black with contrast stitching throughout, they come equipped with five pockets, including a functional tool pocket on the right side, adding just the right amount of utility to not need a bag. Details matter: from the ‘Thunderbolt’ embroidery at the back pocket and hidden stash pocket to the Chet Rock branded stud button, rivets, and vegan leather waistband patch, every inch of these shorts is stamped with their identity. A flag label at the coin pocket completes the fit, quietly shouting out to those who know. The way Chet Rock manages the textures, the cuts, and the energy really makes these subtle shorts stand out.
This fit was paired with the RTFKT x Nike Air Force 1 “Genesis,” a sneaker with a rich story that perfectly matches the energy. RTFKT’s journey is wild: from their roots as a fashion and digital art collective to their groundbreaking partnership with Nike, they’ve consistently pushed the boundaries of sneakers and technology. The “Genesis” edition brings that vision to life through the iconic Air Force 1 silhouette, blending physical and digital worlds with an embedded NFC tag that unlocks a virtual version of the shoe. A bold black and red reimagining of the classic AF1, it features futuristic touches like laser-etched detailing, silicone laces, moulded PU trims, and a striking metallic red finish.

Ten C
Built to last, meant to evolve. Ten c continues its quiet revolution in luxury outerwear, with timeless designs and enduring quality take precedence over hype and haste. Founded by Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey, former minds behind C.P. Company, the label takes its name from Hans Christian Andersen’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, a story about perception and value. Ten c invites you to see the worth in things that last, and more importantly, grow better with time.
We layered the Piece Dyed Nylon Crinkle Mid Layer in Blue Egeo, a lightweight, ripstop outer constructed from piece-dyed Japanese nylon, paired over the Rip-Stop Mid Layer Bomber in Cumin Brown. This combo sits perfectly in Ten c’s modular universe: military-rooted, function-first silhouettes built for layering, adapting, and aging with grace. On the bottoms the WIDE CARGO PANTS anchor the look. Minimal and practical, these pants speak directly to Ten c’s ethos, premium fabrics, garment-dyed depth, and a utilitarian silhouette that serves both style and story.
To keep with the story telling we paired this outfit with the Footpatrol x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 which made visual and textural cues from the Tabernas Desert ecosystems, this collab brings a vivid tension between nature’s extremes. Earthy browns anchor the upper, contrasted by a blue gradient mesh that adds depth and motion, referencing the sky meeting the sand, or water piercing through canopy shade. Patent leather overlays shimmer like wet leaves or slick stone, giving the sneaker a wild, untamed energy. At the front, a neoprene lace shroud with debossed Footpatrol branding leans into the technical aesthetic. One of the standout elements? The transparent XT-900 rubber outsole, offering grip, durability, and a futuristic edge that elevates the entire design.

Real Artistic People
Real Artistic People delivers a capsule collection that bridged the past and the present with a mix of traditional cuts for contemporary streetwear. Rooted in legacy yet aimed for today’s cultural leaders, this collection embodies the bold reimagined that modern fashion demands.
The Camo Cargo Jacket is a true statement piece. Crafted from repurposed 100% cotton military fabric, it fuses British history with a modern streetwear edge. Featuring 3D puff print graphics, signature Rapcycle embroidery, and a curated archive of custom patches honoring cultural legends, this jacket tells a powerful story of art, sound, and style. Designed to move with you, it’s equally impactful layered for maximum effect or worn solo for a more understated statement. Made for the disruptors, this was definitely the boldest look we included. Underneath, we paired it with the “For The Culture” T-shirt, a heavyweight piece made from premium Portuguese-milled jersey. The stone-washed fabric delivers a vintage feel, while precision-cut real glass crystals bring a refined, elevated touch. The Tee created a striking contrast against the military camo, offering a sharp, unexpected juxtaposition of ruggedness and luxury.
We completed the look with the matching military street style Camo Cargo Flare trousers. Made with 100% cotton ripstop and jersey panels, these pants offer durability and flow. Their flared cut and the inclusion of hand-done embroidery, textured puff prints, and rapcycle detailing elevate them from functional to artistic.
To complete the fit, step into the Notwoways VAULT Trainer, a rework of the iconic M1 silhouette. Engineered for both everyday wear and elevated style, the VAULT Trainer is available in Tone, Kaki, and Get, each crafted from buttery suede, full-grain nappa leather, and technical mesh for breathable comfort. With distinctive rope laces and cut-out panelling, the VAULT Trainer embodies modern minimalism with next-gen functionality and is a regular in our personal rotations with its distinctive design language.
