US… What’s New, What’s Next – 001

Welcome to “US… What’s New, What’s Next,” our go-to roundup for the latest sneaker drops, hyped collaborations, and under-the-radar gems. Collected and shot by us they mix classic retros, playful collabs, or something completely unexpected. We’ve got you covered. Produced and styled by Nicole Ranger & Neesha Badass, Modelled by Paris Bedeau and Photographed by Jos Whiteman

Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Bred”

The infamous “Bred” Air Jordan 1 colourway is back in its most faithful-to-the-original form yet. While we’ve seen the “Banned” colourway return in Flyknit and Satin versions, it’s been almost a decade since we got our hands on a leather edition. With the 2016 pair now reaching eye-watering prices (or, for the lucky few, becoming ‘rotation beaters’), the Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Bred” is a welcome revival.

Boasting a thicker Swoosh and a higher ankle collar, this will be the closest many purists will get to owning something akin to the original 1985 pairs. And if past High 85 releases are any indication, expect a more rigid break-in period thanks to the thicker leather cut. Jordan Brand has also painstakingly refined the midsole to match the ‘85 specs, shaving off a few millimeters to satisfy the most meticulous collectors.

PUMA x TMNT Suede XL

Straight out of the New York City sewers, everyone’s favorite pizza-loving, skateboard-riding, crime-fighting Turtles are back! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles teamed up with PUMA for a fresh take on a modern skate sneaker that blends the chunky style with green flair. Whether you’re a lifelong Turtles fan or just love a good pop culture crossover, this drop is packed with personality. Cowabunga, indeed.

STAPLE x Brooks Adrenaline GTS 4

Last week in New York, Brooks unveiled its first foray into lifestyle footwear, set to roll out across 2025. This marks a huge shift for the legendary running brand, which is now looking to blur the lines between performance and streetwear. With a 110-year history rooted in innovation, Brooks is bringing archival designs back into the mix while also embracing new creative collaborations.

One of the standout releases is the STAPLE x Adrenaline GTS 4, which fused Brooks’ technical expertise with the streetwise aesthetic of Jeff Staple. Expect premium materials, bold design elements, and a nod to Brooks’ heritage, all reimagined for the sneaker and fashion crowds alike.

LORENZ.OG x New Balance 860v2 “Dusk”

If you’re into hand-dyed sneakers and boundary-pushing design, then you’re probably already familiar with LORENZ.OG. Lorenzo G. Federici has made waves with his artistic, one-of-a-kind sneaker creations, and he’s back at it with the New Balance 860v2 “Dusk.”

This drop features a bold Y2K-inspired gradient that shifts from deep purples to fiery oranges, capturing the essence of a sunset. To make things even more exciting, the release will follow a golden ticket launch in Soho, adding an extra layer of exclusivity to an already hyped sneaker. If you’re looking for a pair that fuses art and footwear seamlessly, this is one to watch.

KEEN JASPER OG “Dark Olive”

Sneaker culture isn’t just about retro basketball kicks and flashy collabs, every rotation needs the staples. It’s about adventure-ready footwear with serious style. Enter the KEEN Jasper OG in “Dark Olive.” Inspired by rock-climbing silhouettes, this shoe blends Keens outdoor functionality with a street optimised design. Eco Anti-Odour technology ensures freshness, while the suede uppers and sturdy rubber outsole provide durability for everything from city strolls to scrambling up trails. Whether you’re an urban explorer or a weekend warrior, the Jasper OG has got your back (and your feet).

Final Thoughts

From reimagined classics to unexpected collabs, this roundup proves there’s always something fresh on the horizon. Which of these drops are you looking forward to the most? Are you ready to grab the High 85s, channel your inner Ninja Turtle, or step outside the usual sneaker bubble with Brooks or KEEN? Let us know what’s on your radar!
