Inside D’Stassi Art: More Than a Gallery

D’Stassi Art is carving out its own lane in the contemporary art world and is going from strength to strength. More than just a gallery. Since meeting Ed and Mike we have seen them go from strength to strength. D’Stassi functions as the fine line between Gallery, a consultant for high-level brand collaborations, and a powerful force in artist development. D’stassi is always first. At its core, the gallery remains anchored by one belief: art should be shared based on passion, not protocol. Their approach is raw, emotional, and personal. Rather than chasing hype cycles or market trends, D’Stassi backs artists because they believe in them, because their work speaks to something deeper. And that belief is currently on full display through an exclusive collection now available to view at their Shoreditch gallery.

A Showcase of Global Disruptors

With a major announcement on the horizon, D’Stassi Art is offering early access to a striking new lineup of works from some of their and our favourite artists, each one a cultural disruptor in their own right.

SLAWN (@olaoluslawn)

British-Nigerian artist Slawn brings a bold, anarchic energy to everything he touches. His large-scale canvases mix graffiti, caricature, and political commentary into a chaotic visual language that refuses to be boxed in. In 2023, he made headlines as the youngest artist to design the BRIT Awards’ iconic Britannia statuette, a move that cemented his place as a creative force both inside and outside the art world. His work is none stop with collaborations with FA Cup, Victor Victor, Nike and more to come!

Takashi Murakami (@takashipom)

A true legend in the world of contemporary art, Murakami continues to blur the boundaries between fine art and commercial culture. Known for his vibrant characters and Superflat aesthetic, his work offers a satirical yet deeply emotional reflection on Japanese history, consumerism, and globalisation.

SOLDIER (@soldierboyfriend)

Born in Lagos and based in London, Leo Iheagwam, better known as SOLDIER, is one of the most compelling voices to emerge from the African diaspora in recent years. His work blends camo motifs, passport imagery, and layered storytelling to explore themes of immigration, resistance, and cultural duality. Whether in guerrilla exhibitions across London landmarks or studio-based pieces, SOLDIER’s art is a visceral act of self-expression. We covered his work with Hublot earlier and hes only gaining prominence since.

MADSAKI (@madsaki)

With his signature drippy smiley faces and cartoonish distortions, Japanese-American artist MADSAKI delivers art that’s at once satirical and deeply vulnerable. A Parsons graduate and founding member of the Barnstormers collective, he’s spent years building a style that rejects perfection in favor of something far more honest—and far more powerful.

All featured works are currently available to view at D’Stassi Art’s Shoreditch gallery, a space that feels less like a traditional showroom and more like a creative lab for what’s next in contemporary art. Whether you’re a serious collector or just discovering these names for the first time, the gallery offers an opportunity to engage directly with work that challenges, excites, and resonates.
