While firmly rooted in outdoor functionality, the SPEED ARC MATIS GORE-TEX® SP has been creatdd with versatility in mind, offering a silhouette equally suited to mountain trails, weekend escapes and everyday urban wear.
A Shared Vision of the Outdoors
Although they originate from different corners of the outdoor industry, Snow Peak and Merrell share a remarkably similar philosophy. Both brands have built their reputation on thoughtful craftmanship, technical innovation and the belief that soending time outdoors should be accessible to way more people.
That common belief has helped shape one of the more compelling partnerships in the outdoor footwear space. Each collaboration has sought to merge Snow Peak’s considered design language with Merrell’s expertise in performance footwear.
The SPEED ARC MATIS GORE-TEX® SP is perhaps the clearest expression of that approach to date, taking a highly techical hiking silhouette and refining it through Snow Peak’s distinctive eyes.

At its core, the SPEED ARC MATIS GORE-TEX® SP is designed as a next-generation hiking shoe. The model incorporates Merrell’s latest performance technologies alongside premium materials engineered to handle a wide variety of environments and conditions.

Inspired by the Natural Landscape
Visually, the collaboration takes its cues directly from the environments it was designed to explore. The colourway takes inspiration from the organic and inorganic elements found in nature, referencing the textures and tones of tree bark, soil and stone.
Subtle details throughout the shoe reinforces the connection to the outdoors, most notably through an asymmetrical insole design featuring contrasting forest green and sunset-inspired hues. The combination symbolises the changing landscape throughout the day.
