Skepta’s long-anticipated MAINS x Kickers collaboration is finally landing, and it’s right on time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Kick Hi silhouette. First seen on the runway at Skepta’s buzzy MAINS show during London Fashion Week, the capsule marks a bold new chapter for both brands, fusing heritage with fresh street energy.
At the heart of the collaboration is a contemporary rework of the Kick Hi, released in two standout colorways. One pairs deep forest green with clean off-white accents, while the other, dubbed “Grey Snake”, wraps the silhouette in an embossed black and grey snake print, offering a more luxe, elevated texture. Each pair keeps the familiar structure of the Kick Hi while bringing MAINS’ refined edge to the forefront.
But that’s not all. The drop also introduces a brand new silhouette for Kickers: the Kick Mule. A slip-on evolution of the classic boot, the mule is crafted from soft, premium leather and lined with plush faux fur, blending comfort and craftsmanship in equal measure. Arriving in three earthy tones, tumbled tan nubuck, waxy dark red, and a clean black with contrast detailing, the Kick Mule is set to be a standout summer staple.
True to Skepta’s detail-driven approach, every piece in the collection features dual branding, from aglets to fleurettes and quarter tabs, subtly embedding both MAINS and Kickers’ DNA into each design.
To mark the occasion, MAINS and Kickers are throwing a ticketed rave in East London on June 19, personally hosted by Skepta. The event will spotlight a handpicked lineup of rising talent curated by the man himself. The only way in?
