Tilt Hosts G-Shock Auction With Navinder Nangla

Tilt, The Gen Z focused live marketplace app, is back with the next chapter of its Tilt Treasures series. Following major collaborations with the likes of The North Face and Baller League UK, the platform now turns to a true crossover moment. On Sunday, 3rd of August 2025, at 7pm BST, Tilt will host an exclusive auction in partnership with legendary watch brand G-Shock and rising artist Navinder Nangla.

Hosted via the Tilt app, the live auction event is reshaping how young people discover and collect fashion, art, and culture in real time. With starting prices as low as £1, it’s less about hype, but more about meaningful access to affordable products.

G-Shock: Four Decades of Innovation

G-Shock is no stranger to pushing the boundaries. Originally designed by CASIO engineer Kikuo Ibe, the brand emerged from the idea of creating a watch that could survive just about anything. Impact, resistance, water pressure, centrifugal force, you name it, G-Shock was created go endure it.

Fast forward over 40 years, and the name G-Shock carries serious global weight, with more than 130 million watches sold worldwide. The partnership with Tilt brings the same spirit of experimentation to a new audience, fusing G-shock’s legacy with Gen Z’s hunger for disruption and digital-first experiences.

Navinder Nangla: Art With No Spellcheck

At the heart of this collaboration is British-Punjabi artist Navinder Nangla, a name increasingly seen on walls, runways and street corners. Nangla is known for his graffiti infused, often deliberately misspelt visual language. His work is a mix between raw expressions and fashion-forward irreverence.

Nangla’s work has already caught the eye of global brands like Nike, Converse and even Gucci, but this auction brings him closer to home. For this one-off event, he’s crafted a one-of-one custom G-Shock, filled with his recognisable style.

More Than a Watch Drop

The G-Shock offerings are only part of the night’s lineup. Once the watch segment concludes, Tilt will open up the auction floor to original works from Nangla’s own archive. The viewers can expect signature style, full of punk energy and cultural critique.

Part of Something Bigger

This auction marks the third installment of the Tilt Treasures series, a curated stream of collaborations that blur the line between collectibles, fashion, art, tech and youth-culture. Past editions have featured established names like Olaolu Slawn and Tomas Gittins.
