Represent has revealed its Summer Capsule collection and accompanying campaign for Spring/Summer 2026, drawing heavily from the atmosphere of Venice Beach and wider Californian skate culture. Shot across Los Angeles during the height of summer, the campaign captures drained skate pools, sun-bleached streets and coastal landscapes.
The campaign is positioned around important themes like freedom, youth culture and everyday dressing by the coast, the campaign also revisits the visual language of “Vintage Americana” through a contemporary streetwear eye. Venice Beach acts as the backdrop all throughout the campaign, reflecting Represent’s ongoing relationship with Los Angeles, which the brand sees as a second home. Skaters move through empty pools and skate bowls, while the brand’s signature doberman motif reappears throughout as a recurring symbol.
Pop-Punk Nostalgia
The Summer Capsule was developed through conversations between founders George and Mile Heaton surrounding the clothing they wore during their teenage years, particularly pieces connected to the early pop-punk and skate subcultures. Vintage band T-shirts, checkerboard footwear and distressed denim all became reference points during the design process, which helped shape a collection that feels nostalgic.
This influence can be seen throughout the capsule in the form of carpenter shorts, oversized striped jerseys, faded graphic tees and washed long-sleeve knits. Lightweight flannel overshirts in dusty pink tones sit alongside heavily distressed denim and relaxed resort-inspired silhouettes. The garments are intentionally treated to look and feel naturally worn, echoing the sun-faded atmosphere.
Washed Textures
Texture plays a central role throughout the capsule, with garments undergoing extensive washing and treatment processes to create a naturally aged appearance. Faded blacks, dusty pinks, washed blues and muted greens dominate the palette, mirroring the visual environment of Venice Beach, coastal motels and worn concrete skateparks featured throughout the campaign imagery.
The influence of skateboarding culture is particularly visible through the collection’s relaxed silhouettes and durable fabric choices. Carpenter shorts and distressed jeans introduce utility-focused detailing, while oversized fits across jerseys and outerwear maintain the loose proportions associated with skatewear styling. Checkerboard graphics and vintage-inspired branding further reinforce the capsule’s connection to classic Californian skate aesthetics without relying too heavily on overt references.
Accessoires and Lifestyle Pieces
For this year’s release, Represent extends the collection beyond apparel through the introduction of several lifestyle-focused accessories designed around all-day summer wear. Beach towels, printed bandanas, keyrings and layered jewellery appear alongside newly introduced flip-flops, hotel slippers and skate-inspired trainers, expanding the capsule into a broader seasonal lifestyle offering.
The accessories continue the collection’s washed and vintage-inspired visual identity, ensuring cohesion across both clothing and lifestyle products. Represent’s signature caps also return within the drop, reinforcing the brand’s established accessories line while complementing the relaxed styling direction seen throughout the campaign.
