NOTE Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low “Cookies 420”

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Cookies 420” mixes warm café tones, playful details and proper skate-friendly materials into something that feels both familiar and cheekily imaginative. From the tan suede to the pink Swoosh and the character-filled laces, the shoe already reads like a snack, but the deeper details are where the storytelling really lives.

The upper keeps that rich, biscuit-brown suede, soft to the touch and built to crease the way only proper suede does. It is warm, soft, slightly golden. It leans into a “Cookies” theme. The base stays wearable, versatile, and comfortably grounded by that classic off-white midsole.

But the playful twist comes through on the tongue and heel, where the designers clearly decided to have a bit of fun. Flip the tongue and you’ll find a tag printed with different variations of coffee, just like the chalkboard menu you’d see in a proper café. Espresso, latte, americano, the whole line-up. It’s a tiny detail, but it gives the shoe an identity. It frames the theme as more than just “cookies” instead, it becomes a whole moment.

And then there’s the standout feature: three interchangeable Velcro Swooshes, each textured to resemble a different type of cookie. This is where the pair really earns its name. One Swoosh is smoother, like a classic butter biscuit; another has a criss-cross biscuit-tin pattern; the last carries a crumbly, almost chocolate-chip-inspired texture. Swap them out depending on your mood. The multicoloured, almost marble-patterned laces help tie all of this together.
