The Mizuno Wave Rider Beta Pack is here for SS24, and in some tasty new accents. Sterling Blue, White Sand and Peach Bloom adorn last year’s hit silhouette from the Japanese powerhouse.
They’re the latest in a never-ending run of fresh, tech’d out sneakers from the quality sportswear company, which was founded in 1906 in Osaka, Japan, by brothers Rihachi and Rizo Mizuno. Now almost 120 years old, they began by selling high quality baseball equipment – but over the decades have expanded their output to include equipment and clothing for a range of sports from football to handball. They became synonymous for their commitment to craftmanship and innovation as they incorporated cutting-edge technologies into their products. Mizuno has been a trusted brand since the beginning.
Mizuno gained international recognition in the 50s and 60s when its sports equipment began to venture beyond Japan’s markets. A trusted name among athletes worldwide, the brand is dedicated to helping athletes achieve their best, exemplifying the spirit of its founders’ commitment to quality.
The Wave Rider Beta Pack upper sits atop the sole of the brands best-selling running shoe – the Wave Rider 27. The Wave Rider Beta also nods to previous models with even the pointed toe alone found in the blueprints for the 8, 9, 10 and 11 – but with the upper providing a more casual street look than fully-fledged performance running shoe.
If you want to get your hands on them – take your pick… they’ll be available on 22nd March 2024 at SIZE?, END, SNS, Urban Industry, Pam Pam, Cooshti, Mainsource, Sevenstore, Unit 17, Progress Running Club House, Hambledon, DUO, Peggs and Son and Oliver Spencer.
