House of Errors continues SS26 with their newest collection THAMANI, a capsule collection that moves the London-based label’s immersive universe towards the sea. Derived from the Swahili word meaning “precious”, the collection builds upon the brand’s growing reputation for narrative-driven fashion, using garments as an extension of imaginative worlds. As with previous releases like TESHIGA and Bellavera, THAMANI places storytelling at the centre of its creative direction.
Set against dreamlike Mediterranean landscapes that appear almost too perfect to be real, the collection explores a slower, more meaningful way of living. THAMANI embodies stillness, positioning its narrative around sun-drenched coastlines, quiet harbours and hidden locations untouched by routine tourism.
A Celebration of Coastal Leisure
At the heart of THAMANI is the idea that lifems greatest luxury is not excess but quality. House of Errors frames the collection around moments spend beneath the Mediterranean sun, wether this is standing on a peddle board in the middle of the water, watching reflections drift away on the sea, or discovering abandoned tennis courts hidden within coastal towns.
This atmosphere translates directly into the garments themselves. Across the collection, embroidered sailboats, swimmers, tennis-inspired imagery and maritime references transform clothing into visual postcards from an imagined coastline. Pieces such as crystal-studded satin jackets, wide-leg linen trousers and water-pattern jacquard polos reinforce the collection’s balance between relaxed elegance and narrative design.
Narrative Garments
House of Errors has always treated garments as a way of storytelling, and THAMANI is no different. The collection continues the familiar approach through highly detailed embroidery, scenic illustrations and layered visual references.
Sailboats stretch across trouser legs, embroidered swimmers appear across accessories and detailed coastal scenes unfold through knitwear and outerwear. These elements function collectively to create a sense of place, allowing each garment to contribute to the collection by itself.
