First revealed during the Paris Fashion Week in June 2025, the collaboration between Footpatrol and Salomon Sportstyle has arrived. Their chosen silhouette is the XT-4 OG, a well-known model from Salomon. This time the XT-4 OG comes in a gradient that runs from black all the way to white on the lateral to medial side. For Footpatrol this is the start of a relationship with one of the most innovative names in performance footwear, Salomon.
Gradient as a Design Language
The real beauty is seen in the gradient fade that runs across the XT-4 OG. Moving from a deep black on the lateral side to a pure white on the medial side. It brings a certain personality to the sneaker. The fade compliments the distinctive paneling, with a mesh upper and TPU overlays creating layers.
Beneath the gradient is the technical aspect of this sneaker, the XT-4 OG is build on Salomon’s Speed Lacing System, that system enables fast adjustment with a single pull, while the Agile Chassis Skeleton ensures stability. A Contagrip Outsole underlines Salomon’s commitment to performance.
Details That Tie Two Cities Together
Every great collaboration needs great details, and Footpatrol made sure to include plenty of them. The “LDN” and “PAR” lettering on the toebox aren’t random geographical locations, they are a nod to the two cities that shaped FootPatrol. London is the city where Footpatrol first established its name as one of the most respected and well-known sneaker boutiques, and Paris is where the brand opened up its first EU store. The branding continues on the insole, where you can find a Footpatrol and Salomon logo. The bar logo tongue tag finishes off the collaboration.
