Dave Unveils Stone Island x New Balance Kit at the Santan Cup 2025

As official kit sponsor of the Santan Cup, Stone Island, together with New Balance, returned in 2025 to unveil a custom football boot and kit for Santan FC, the team led by tournament founder and musician Dave. At the centre was the Furon v8, reimagined with a boulder matte finish, integrated ripstop texture, and chrome electroplated soleplate detailing. Reflective accents in the knit collar added a futuristic edge, setting the tone for the matching kit: a minimalist all-white jersey and shorts combo, built with a custom ripstop pattern and reflective woven branding. Precision-engineered and style-forward, the look fused resilience, identity, and innovation.

Dave doesn’t play by the rules. For the 2025 edition of the Santan Cup, held in Monaco, he stepped out in the Khaki Stone Island x New Balance kit that made waves before a ball was kicked. Clean. Controlled. Commanding. The fit echoed the mindset of its creators: technically driven, culturally tuned, and radically refined. Born in Coram’s Fields, the Santan Cup has grown into a global movement, stretching from Streatham to Monaco. Still invite-only. Still unpredictable. Still unmistakably Santan.

This year’s lineup blurred lines between sport, style, and sound. While SE Dons took home the silverware, it was Dave’s fit that dominated headlines, a symbol of how far the tournament, and its founder, have come. For Dave, this is storytelling through design. In Rio, it was a camo Stone Island kit inspired by Raheem Sterling’s World Cup boots, raw, defiant. In 2025, the palette felt like the next evolution: elevated, intentional, composed. It spoke to growth. To self-definition. To identity in motion.

At the heart of it all is the continued partnership between Stone Island and New Balance. United by a shared belief in authenticity, craft, and function, their collaboration isn’t about trend-chasing. It’s about equipping a generation that values meaning over hype. Every piece, from high-spec boots to elevated lifestyle wear, is built with purpose. Designed for those who treat clothing as a toolkit, not a trophy. When Dave steps onto the pitch in their latest creation, it’s a statement.
