A New Chapter for the Pro Leather
Originally introduced in 1976, the Converse Pro Leather quickly established itself as one of basketball most defining silhouettes. Designed during an era that transformed performance footwear, it soon transcended the court to become a staple within music, fashion and street culture.
For the Converse 1908 collection, Tyler, The Creator revisits that legacy tor a fresh perspective. Inspired by b-boy culture and the custom bootleg workshops that once modified classic sneakers by hand, thae new 1908 Pro Leather exaggerates familiar proportions to create a silhouette that feels nostalgic, yet forward-looking.
The updated design features a noticeably wider toe box, oversized eyelet rows, chunky laces and an embossed star extending across the toe cap, giving the shoe a more substantial and expressive appearance. Premium full-geain leather elevates the construction, while heritage details including the classic Star Chevron logo, perforated side panels and archival heel construction preserve the identity of the original Pro Leather.
Adding Tyler’s signature touch, subtle GOLF LE FLEUR* branding appears debossed across the tongue and lateral sidewall, seamlessly integrating his creative universe into one of Converse’s most celebrated silhouettes. The model launches in two colourways: White and Amazon.
The Converse 1908 Jogger
Joining the Pro Leather are two new leather executions of the Converse 1908 Jogger, coming in black and white colourways. Following previous releases that explored suede, nylon and two-tone finishes, the latest version introduces a cleaner, more refined aesthetic.
The premium leather upper enhances the Jogger’s versatility, allowing the model go move between everyday wearability and more elevated wardrobes.
