Hartcopy x adidas Originals Continue Their BW Army Story With the New Decon Release

Hartcopy and adidas Originals continue their exploration of the Three Stripes classics with the latest release of their collaborative BW Army project. Following the success of previous adidas collaborations, such as the white and black BW Army pack or their adidas Adizero Evo SL “Polka Dot” collaboration. This time the two are back with a new and lightweight interpretation of the BW Army: the Hartcopy x adidas Originals BW Army Decon.

Launching exclusively through Hartcopy on Friday, 31st July 2026, the new release introduces two new colourways, a Crystal White/Grey One-Gum and a Halo Gold/Gum Gold, both kedp the minimalistic design language alive.

Priced at just £110, the latest iteration builds upon the previous Hartcopy x adidas Originals BW Army releases, which were known for their simple colourways and premium materials.

Revisiting the BW Army Through Hartcopy’s Lens

The adidas BW Army has long been appreciated for its simple design. Originally inspired by the footwear worn by the German military, the silhouette has developed into a cult favourite within sneaker culture, thanks to that same clean profile.

Hartcopy’s previous takes on the silhouette focused on refining these qualities, embracing tonal colours and allowing the silhouette’s construction to take centre stage. For their latest chapter, Hartcopy and adidas Originals take that approach even further with the BW Army Decon, ome of the most stripped-back versions of silhouette so far.

A Lightweight Sneaker

The Hartcopy x adidas Originals BW Army Decon introduces a series of construction changes designed to reduce the weight and increase versatility. The internal lining has been completely removed, this creates a lighter feel to allow the heel structure to collapse.

Crystal White and Halo Gold

The first colourway continues the partnership’s affinity for simple and tonal colours. The Crystal White/Grey One-Gum edition highlights the Army’s minimalistic foundation, using subtle contrast to emphasise the shape and construction.

Joining it is the Halo Gold/Gum Gold edition. This colourway introduces a warmer and more distinctive expression of the sneaker. The golden tones add a fresh perspective to the model while maintaining the same understated aesthetic.
