Cadillac Formula 1® Team Collaborates With Slawn and Opake for the British Grand Prix

As the Cadillac Formula 1® Team continues its debut season on the Formula 1 grid, the American outfit is building a visual identity that extends far beyond the racetrack. For every stop on the 2026 calendar, the team has commissioned local artists to create original race posters inspired by the culture, energy and character of east host nation, turning every Grand Prix into a unique artistic collaboration.

For the British Grand Prix, Cadillac has enlisted acclaimed British artists Slawn and Opake to create the official Silverstone artwork, bringing together the team’s American heritage with Britian’s thriving contemporary art scene. Produced in partnership with London-based creative platform and publishing house ODITI, the collaboration forms part of a wider initiative celebrating the intersection of motorsports, art and culture.

A Silverstone Poster

Recognised as two of the UK’s most influential contemporary artists, Slawn and Opake have built international reputations through work that spans graffiti, fine art, fashion and sport. Their distinctive visual language has become instantly recognisable, making them a natural fit to reinterpret Cadillac Formula 1® Team’s first season through the lens of British creativity.

The artwork features subtle references and hidden details inspired by Cadillac’s inaugural Formula 1 campaign, Silverstone’s rich motorsport heritage and the ongoing cultural dialogue between the United Kingdom and the United States. The poster itself reflects the personality of both the circuit and the team as Cadillac starts to establish itself within the sport.

Off the Grid

To celebrate the collaboration, Cadillac Formula 1® Team and ODITI hosted Off the Grid, a special exhibition on Monday 29 June. The exhibition showcased the growing collection of race posters created throughout the 2026 Formula 1 season, alongside the newly unveiled Silverstone artwork by Slawn and Opake.

Visitors also had the opportunity to purchase both official and special edition prints via exclusive QR codes only available during the exhibition.

Building a New Creative Identity

The Silverstone collaboration forms part of Cadillac Formula 1® Team’s broader strategy of engaging with local creatives throughout its debut Formula 1 campaign. By commissioning artists in every host country, the team is creating a season-long body of work that reflects the diversity and cultural significance of each Grand Prix instead of relying on standard motorsports branding.
