Vans and Pringle of Scotland bring two different worlds together with a collaboration that puts a Scottish twist on classic skate silhouettes. Combining Vans’ Southern California skate heritage with Pringle’s long-standing knitwear legacy, the collection takes the fashion house’s signature argyle pattern and introduces it across footwear, apparel and accessories.
Founded in 1815, Pringle of Scotland built its identity around traditional knitwear and craftmanship, with argyle becoming one of its most recognisable design signatures. Vans, meanwhile, draws on more than six decades of skateboarding culture. The partnership finds common ground between these histories, using texture, pattern and the recognisable Vans silhouettes.
Argyle Meets Vans Classics
The footwear line reworks three of Vans’ best-known silhouettes: the Authentic 44, Sk8-Hi Reissue and two Classic Slip-On 98. Each pair takes its cues from Pringle of Scotland’s knitwear heritage, replacing the usual canvas-led appearance with textured, brushed and felted wool-inspired materials. Argyle patterns run across the uppers, giving the familiar Vans profiles a softer, more seasonal finish.
Two colour combinations define the collection. White, black and tan offer a more understated take, while navy, green and burgundy bring a richer palette to the Sk8-Hi and Slip-On styles. Collaboration branding appears on the tongue, while the Sk8-Hi features an embroidered Pringle lion riding a skateboard at the heel, bringing the two identities together in one playful detail.
A Seasonal Wardrobe
The collaboration extends beyond footwear with a selection of seasonal clothing and accessories. Sweaters and bests bring Pringle’s knitwear heritage into the mix, while knit sets and track sets introduce some more relaxed options. Totes, beanies and socks complete the offering.
The Vans x Pringle of Scotland collection is set to launch on 10 November 2026 through Vans and selected retailers. The footwear range includes the Authentic 44, Sk8-Hi Reissue 38 and two Classic Slip-On 98 styles, alongside a seasonal selection of sweaters, vests, knit sets, track sets, totes, beanies and socks
