The Axis Sneaker is a classic skater silhouette, reimagined through a modern lens. Created out of the raw, kinetic energy of skate culture, the Axis is all about balance, motion, and control. The sneaker is build from premium leathers and textured suedes. Carefully considered panel lines trace the silhouette with a sense of precision, each one measured and deliberate. The Axis channels the essence of the golden age of skate, the silhouettes that shaped youth, rebellion, and rhythm, but filters it through The Couture Club’s refined perspective.
“We wanted to create something that felt familiar, but completely redefined,” says Ross Worswick, Co-Founder and Creative Director of The Couture Club. “The Axis takes
cues from classic skate silhouettes we all grew up around, but through our own lens – cleaner, sharper, more elevated. It’s about bringing that everyday wearability into a space that still feels premium.” The Axis is handcrafted in Portugal, and the Axis came to life because of rigorous quality testing. Materials have been sourced for their durability, leathers are made to withstand skating and grinding every day. The pair was examined and refined multiple times through ongoing feedback between The Couture Club’s design team and the Portuguese artisans.
To mark the arrival of The Axis, The Couture Club will be transforming Manchester Social into CC-Social, a one weekend only takeover celebrating the brand’s first major footwear launch. This event offers exclusive early access to The Axis Sneaker alongside previews of unreleased collections, 1-of-1 exclusives and a special collaboration with MCR Social.
