Vans OTW pushes its design boundaries with the SR Studio x Vans Future Clog, a bold experimental silhouette crafted in collaboration with Sterling Ruby. Following the leaked marbled colorways of the Authentic 44 and Old Skool 36, the Future Clog becomes the centerpiece of this innovative partnership, merging sculptural design with functional footwear. Designed as a molded, one-piece shoe, the Future Clog works as a minimalist slip-on mule or transforms into a bootie with its TPU shell. Sterling Ruby drew inspiration from his Dutch heritage, modernizing his grandfather’s traditional wooden clogs into a deconstructed, futuristic form.
The Future Clog launches in versatile black and white colourways, with a marble yellow edition available exclusively on srstudio.com. A green sample has also appeared online, though Vans has not confirmed retail plans for that color. As the third chapter of Ruby’s collaboration with Vans, the project moves beyond heritage silhouettes, signaling a daring new direction for the OTW line.
