Simone Rocha x adidas AW26 “Myth in Motion”

For Autumn/Winter 2026, Simone Rocha and adidas unveil “Myth in Motion”, a collaboration that made its first appearance as part of Simone Rocha’s Fall/Winter 2026 show at London Fashion Week. It’s a creative dialogue that explores mythology, sport and romance, all woven together through Rocha’s whimsical design language.

Inspired in part by Celtic myth and the Irish legend of Tír na nÓg, the “Land of Eternal Youth”, Myth in Motion translates romantic storytelling into garments that balance athletic heritage with delicate detailing.

Sportswear

At its core, Myth in Motion reinterprets classic adidas codes and silhouettes through Simone Rocha’s signature lens. Track jackets, leggings and relaxed sportswear staples are deconstructed and embellished with feminine touches, from ribbon lacing woven through technical fabrics to lace overlays sitting alongside athletic stripes. These details heighten the contrast between function and fantasy.

Take the track jackets, for example: silhouettes familiar from decades of sportswear are enhanced with puffed sleeves, subtle frills and soft tulle. Typical performance fabrics now carry sculptural volume or delicate trimming. The three-stripe motif, one of adidas’ most recognisable visual styles, appears integrated into dresses and top pieces in unexpected ways, sometimes layered beneath lace or threaded through ribbon detailing.

Footwear

Classic sneaker silhouettes are reinterpreted with satin ribbon laces that replace traditional cords, pearl and crystal accents appear alongside trefoil branding, and ballet-inspired details nod to both performance and grace.

Apparel

The apparel offering expands this narrative through layered tailoring, volumetric shapes and a rich seasonal palette. Outerwear from bombers to coats are decorated with decorative elements: bows, lace insets and asymmetric hems appear throughout the range, creating a visual tension between protective layering and intricate detailing.

Rich fabrics such as lace, tulle and tweed are paired with traditional sporty textures, introducing a tactile interplay that keeps the collection grounded in both heritage and innovation. In some looks, sheer layers overlay athletic staples like three-stripe jersey, while elsewhere, satin and rhinestone-embellished panels show up on skirts, shorts and dresses.
