Saucony brings back one of its mosh influential silhouettes, the ProGrid V2, reintroducinh it with a level of intent and refinement that feels perfectly tuned to the current wave of early-2000s technical nostalgia. First released in 2011, the ProGrid V2 always sat in a sweet spot between a performance and a gym-ready silhouette. Now, more than a decade later, it returns as a blueprint for the new generation.
The Night Sky colourway becomes the headline for the comeback, setting the tone for what Saucony describes as a new era in its lifestyle and performance chapters. The palette is richer and more atmospheric than the usual 2000s revival fare. A deep, almost black base forms the anchor, mirroring the early-night horizon before the first hint of dawn. Metallic blue-violet hits glide across the overlays with a pearlescent shimmer.
The ProGrid V2’s foundation remains true to its performance roots. Breathable mesh join in with the sculpted overlays that still feel like the early-2000s. The full-length EVA midsole returns as the core of the shoe, for a smooth cushioning. The relaunch also reinforces Saucony’s community-first approach. The brand partnered with One Block Down, a retailer with a eye for culture and storytelling. OBD handled the visual identity of the comeback. Night Sky acts as the first installment in a wider capsule landing in February 2026.
