The creative chaos of Salehe Bembury and Nina Chanel Abney has officially collided with Crocs and the result is anything but subtle. Their new collaborative Pollex Clog is a visual riot that blends gallery-worthy art with street-smart comfort, pushing the boundaries of what a Crocs silhouette can be.
Bembury’s now iconic fingerprint-inspired mould returns, but this time it’s been twisted with Abney’s graphic sensibilities. Each foot is treated as its own canvas: the right features a distorted checkerboard pattern, equal parts punk and surrealist, while the left explodes with abstract shapes and emoji-like symbols that tap into Abney’s visual language of contemporary chaos.
Both clogs glow in the dark, making them just as much a statement under city lights as they are on gallery floors. Accents of hot pink on the toe and heel amplify the playful, slightly off-kilter energy that defines both collaborators’ styles. It’s loud, it’s clever, and somehow, it still feels functional.
The drop doesn’t stop at footwear, either. Each pair arrives with a three-pack of exclusive socks decked out in that same checkerboard motif, encouraging wearers to go full maximalist.
