Rouje and Reebok Bring Eighties Aerobics to the Parisian Wardrobe

The eighties are calling, and Rouje and Reebok picked up the phone with a message about a collection that takes vintage fitness culture straight into the modern Parisian wardrobe. Releasing on 24 October 2026, the collaboration combines Reebok’s sporting heritage and Rouje’s French style, creating a capsule designed to move between workout sessions, city streets and evenings with friends. Inspired by the golden ages of aerobics, the collection also nods to French fitness personalities Davina Delor and Véronique de Villèle, bringing a nostalgic feel to sportswear.

For more than four decades, Reebok moved between sports, music and street culture, with its designs regularly stepping beyond their original purpose. Rouje, founded by Jeanne Damas, brings another perspective to the collaboration. The brand builds on feminine silhouettes and a distinctive Parisian style.

“We loved the idea of building on Reebok’s sporting heritage to give it a resolutely Rouje perspective: feminine, natural and Parisian. The collection is about movement, but also about how we want to feel in our clothes.” – Jeanne Damas, founder of Rouje

Eighties Fitness, Reworked for Everyday Life

The collection takes studio-inspired silhouettes and gives them a softer, more considered finish. Burgundy, navy and ecru establish the colour palette, while premium soft-touch fabrics and carefully considered elements keep the garments comfortable for everyday wear. The Ribbed Bodysuit features a square neckline, while the Feminine Wrap Top introduces a more fluid silhouette. The lightweight Jules Windbreaker completes the selection with a practical layer.

Other pieces include the Diana sweatshirt, Isa sports bra and MarieJo leggings, alongside the Gigi bodysuit and Sabi wrap top. With prices ranging from £50 for the Isa sports bra to £130 for the Jules jacket.

The Freestyle Gets a French Makeover

The focus piece is the Reebok Freestyle, one of the brand’s defining silhouettes from the aerobics era. Originally introduced in 1982 as a shoe designed specifically for women’s fitness, the Freestyle eventually became a cultural icon that moved away from the gym into streetwear.

For the Rouje collaboration, the sneaker comes in a soft Chalk leather, with Classic Burgundy accents, rally leather cut-outs and suede overlays. Scalloped eyelet tabs add a more sophisticated touch, while tricolour bring the recognisable French finish. A Gum outsole and burgundy Rouje-branded sock liner complete the design, available in both Hi and Lo editions for £110.

The Reebok x Rouje collection launches on 24 October 2026 through Reebok.eu, Rouje.com and selected retailers worldwide.
