Alongside these, Nike has also explored variations like the “Snakeskin Grape” and darker-toned iterations with black midsoles. But for the upcoming release, the focus is squarely on returning to OG form, with modern enhancements.
While we await the official visuals of the 2026 retro, sneakerheads are already speculating about the upper’s shading. Previous versions leaned toward light grey suede panels, while the 2018 pair featured a deeper, more muted tone. Expect this detail to be a key talking point as more information surfaces. Colour-wise, the “Grape” Air Max 95 remains a celebration of ’90s design. Court Purple dresses the tongue, eyelets, and mini Swooshes, while Emerald Green shines through the visible Air units, delivering that unmistakable nostalgic pop. And with the inclusion of the bigger, seamed Air bubble, this retro aims to blend legacy with updated tech, similar to what Nike did with the return of the “Neon” AM95. There’s no confirmed release date yet for the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Grape,” but it’s expected to drop in women’s sizing sometime in 2026.
