After the success of the Jasper Zionic “Energy Pack” in September, outdoor-footwear specialist KEEN is returning to its climbing-inspired roots with brand new colourways of the original Jasper silhouette, as well as the variant the Jasper Rocks. The Jasper was originally introduced in 2008 and later refined. Over 17 years have passed and the Jasper is still around. Some things have changed, but the Jasper still has a toe-to-tongue lacing system, suede upper and more.
Heritage Design, Modern Intent
From the outset, the Jasper has stayed true to the original design, a climbing shoe inspired model, repurposed for urban and outdoor wear. KEEN describes its original Jasper as a model that “can go up hills, across streets and refuses to be worn less than a week”
The heritage remains intact in the new release. The FW25 Jasper and Jasper Rocks models feature the signature two-set of laces (or for the Rocks, a no-tie lace-lock bungee system) which allows wearers to customise their look.
Colour, Function and Wearability
The FW25 colour palette is a nod to the season, deep forest green, rich eggplant purple, and earthy tones all referring to cold weather activity. Both models, the standard Jasper and the Jasper Rocks, are engineered with the end user in mind. It doesn’t matter where you go, are you traveling? Going for a hike? Shopping? Or are you getting your groceries? All is fine with the Jasper. The shoe presents itself as a one pair solution.
KEEN knows that adventure doesn’t just happen on the top of a mountain, it is found in every aspect of life. The FW25 follows that philosophy. Every pair is made with durability, the same durability that made the Jasper an icon.
