To celebrate a decade of creative synergy, Taiwan’s Invincible and ASICS are reuniting with the GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “404 RGB”, a striking, concept-driven sneaker release rooted in the aesthetics of imperfection.
The “404 RGB” name plays on two ideas the classic HTTP 404 error code (symbolising “not found”) and a colour spectrum (RGB). For this edition, “G” is translated as “Grey,” which fits the moody, neutral palette the project favours.
Instead of symmetric design, Invincible embraces contrast. The left and right shoes use alternative materials: suede, mesh, leather, and semi-detached paneling. Accents of red and blue pop through on tongue labels and heel tabs, nodding to Taiwan’s Double Tenth Day and adding narrative depth.
ASICS’s comfort and supportive tech remain. dual-layer EVA foam, GEL inserts, TRUSSTIC® stability, but they’re enveloped in an expressive visual vocabulary that feels more art piece than runner.
