Lauterbrun is House of Errors second capsule of 2026, and this collection turns towards nature. The brand doesn’t chase what’s next, but decided to step off course. House of Errors has always built worlds by adding a sense of storytelling to every drop. In Lauterbrun, that instinct is still visible. The familiar House of Errors ethos is still visible, but it has been located to the outdoors. Concrete is replaced with grass, ceilings are replaced with beautiful blue skies.
Lauterbrun feels tied to the idea of wide open places and natural richness. The name directly references to Lauterbrunnen, a famous valley located in the Swiss Alps, the name Lauterbrunnen literally means “many fountains” and refers the waterfront and green environments of the valley.
The Reward of Movement
The knitwear in Lauterbrun feels like the heart of the collection. One of the most memorable pieces is a knitted polo of a couple cycling through rolling hills, caught mid journey. It feels rhythmic. The same scene can be seen on a t-shirt, showcasing how versatile the design is. One moment can be replayed in different ways.
The Destination: Taking It Slow
Not every story in Lauterbrun is about going somewhere tho. Some of the garments focus on what happens after arriving at the destination. A long-sleeve polo and a green jacket show a couple lying in the grass, their ride is over, the effort was spent well and now, it is time to relax, to catch a break and rest.
The trousers within the Lauterbrun capsule push the narrative of movement much further, alongside clean, grounded green and brown monochrome options, House of Errors introduces multiple pairs that feel more like a daydream stitched info the fabric. One pair imagines a kite lifting into the sky, another follows a flock of birds in the middle of their flight.
Just like the upper pieces they are about moving and activity, but instead of moving yourself the pieces focus on watching movements, while you stay still. The wind does the movement, eyes follow the movement, and all this happens while your thoughts are slowly drifting away. The opposite is happening on the third pair of trousers, this is about being active again, but this time it is on the slope. The trousers show people skiing downhill through powdered snow.
