Continuing their material-led dialogue, HAVEN and Vans return under the OW umbrella with a new collaboration, this time spotlighting the Vans Authentic 44. The collaboration locks in on one of Vans’ most foundational designs and simplifies it.
Authentic 44 Vibram
The Authentic 44 Vibram comes in two monochromatic colourways, black and white, each made built around contrast and subtle design. Across both, the upper is made from a blend of hairy suede and nubuck. Leather piping frames the structure, adding a sense of precision to the build.
Built to Last
Underneath is where the most significant updates take place. The introduction of a Vibram outsole adds a new level of durability and grip, turning the Authentic into something more adaptable across different environments. The sole has a tank tread pattern made for traction across different surfaces.
Inside, the build follows the same philosophy. A natural Vachetta leather lining and cushioned footbed prioritses comfort and ageing, to allow the interior to soften and mould over time. Perforated detailing across the tongue and instel introduces airflow.
