On the outskirts of Bolton, against the backdrop of a working farm, Gander present their first complete Autumn/Winter collection. Amongst frost-dusted fields, cattle sheds, and slate-grey skies, the campaign speaks to the grit and graft that has always shaped the North, this energy flows through Gander’s designs. It is a collection that honours workwear.
From Fields to Fabrics
The farm setting mirrrors the way Gander has approached this collection. The clothes are all about what matters: durability, honesty and wearability. Silhouettes like the Dean Shirt and the two-part Stevenson Smock and Pants set are updated with winterised details, build to withstand the colder season. The Castle Dual Jacket, which is a staple piece already, returns sturdier and durable than before.
Gander wouldn’t be Gander if they didn’t introduce new silhouettes in their collection. The Cottonpolis Jacket and Pant set, the Pennine Shirt and Pant set, and the Togo Beanie all push Gander further towards contemporary design.
The Cottonpolis Jacket
The hero piece of the season is the Cottonpolis Jacket. This garment embodies Gander’s connection to Manchester’s industrial past. Taking its name from the city’s 19th-century nickname, the jacket references a time when Manchester stood at the centre of the global wool and cotton trade. Built from wool and cut in the shape of old-school workwear jackets, it is a true nod to the past.
Daily Essentials
The Pennine Shirt and Pant set reflects the landscape beyond Manchester, rugged, elevated and quitly vast. The natural fibres and measured cuts tie the set togheter.
The Stevenson Smock and Pant return as an evolved garment. This time the silhouette is sharper, with materialss chosen to keep you warm in the colder days. The Castle Jacket follows this pattern.
Even the accessories carry the same thought. The Togo Beanie has a simple structure, but will be a daily staple in the Autumn Winter season.
Launch Details
The Gander AW25 collection will be available starting Sunday, 21st of September on gandergander.co.uk and in-store.
