Following the highly exclusive Friends & Family all-pink edition that debuted at Paris Fashion Week in January 2025, Footpatrol once again joins forces with Hiking Patrol and Reebok for a new interpretation of the Instapump Fury.
This latest version, designed for wider public release, takes a more subdued approach to its colour palette while continuing the collaborative trio’s commitment to reworking classic silhouettes.
A Fresh Take on the Instapump Fury
In a fresh departure from the original design, this new edition of the Instapump Fury replaces Reebok’s signature air bladder system with a zip-fastened cage. Reinforced with rubber and neoprene, this structural shift enhances durability while altering the shoe’s visual language.
The result is a fusion of performance and style that aligns with Reebok’s ‘Frankenstein’ era of footwear design, an approach driven by Japanese-led innovation in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Reconnection To The Outdoors
This collaboration is guided by the themes of reconnection, rediscovery, and strengthening ties with the outside world. Stripped of its traditional Pump technology, the reimagined Instapump Fury embraces a more utilitarian and tactile identity.
The combination of synthetic materials and functional design elements reflects an outdoor inspired style while maintaining the futuristic DNA of the silhouette.

The Footpatrol x Hiking Patrol x Reebok Instapump Fury is set to release on 20 March 2025. Retailing at £180 GBP, the collaborative sneaker will be available through Footpatrol, both in-store and online.
