DESCENTE Allterrain I/O is back for A/W26 with a collection that brings technical performance into everyday wardrobes. Launched in 2023 alongside Allterrain 81, I/O was created as an urban activewear line for business and casual use, bult around versatility and convenience instead of technical styling. Its core idea is simple: clothing that can be worn throughout the day and across the seasons with performance technology quietly integrated into familiar silhouettes.
For A/W26, that approach comes through in a wardrobe of shirts, tailored jackets, trousers, knitwear and outerwear. The range includes Washer and Tech Tailored Jackets, matching Slim, Regular and Wide trousers, Stretch Twill and Knit pieces, as well as the Tech Anorak Jacket. Sportswear pattern technology is used for maximise freedom of movement, while technical fabrics bring comfort and practical performance.
The Washer Engineer Coat sits naturally within that collection, bringing sartorial cues to a garment built around everyday practicality. Its stretchy, water-repellent construction allows it to handle changing conditions while maintaining a more refined silhouette. Across the collection, a restrained colour palette keeps styling straightforward, reducing unnecessary colour clashes and placing much more emphasis on the fabric and construction of the garment.

Alongside I/O, Allterrain 81 approaches the same performance heritage from a more utilitarian and outdoor perspective. The line draws on DESCENTE’s experience to develop ski wear with the world’s top skiers, translating that knowledge into clothing designed to move between urban life and outdoor activity.
The AW26 range expands across thermal layers, Cordura stretch ripstop, fleece, insulation and technical shells. Key pieces include the Cordura Stretch Ripstop L/S Shirt and Cargo Pants, Greyish Ripstop Jacket and Pants, Insulated Cardigan, 3L Fleece Jacket and Pants, Light Insulated Parka and Pants, alongside the DERMIZAX 3L Shell Jacket ZENCHIKEI. The collection also includes Future Boa Fleece, Shell Insulated and additional insulated pieces as the season moves deeper into winter.
