Awake NY and Jordan Brand are set to release the Air Jordan 5 “Black/Racer Blue” on 19 September 2025. This collaboration blends New York streetwear style with the classic basketball silhouette, marking a significant addition to the Air Jordan 5’s 35th-anniversary celebrations.
The sneaker features a black suede upper, complemented by Racer Blue accents on the midsole’s shark teeth and inner lining. Metallic silver details on the tongue and eyelets add contrast, while the translucent netting on the side panels is reshaped into Awake NY’s signature ‘A’ logo. The oversized reflective tongue showcases the AWAKE branding, and the traditional “23” on the right shoe is replaced with “NY,” highlighting the collaboration’s roots.
Set to release on 19 September 2025, the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 “Black/Racer Blue” will be available through Awake NY, select Jordan Brand retailers, and Nike.com.
