The atmosphere x adidas Superstar GORE-TEX marks another chapter in the long-standing relationship between the Tokyo-based retailer and the German Three Stripes brand. This time, atmos takes on of the most iconic silhouettes in adidas’ history, the Superstar.
On first glance, the sneaker looks classic. A white leather upper, smooth full-grain leather and the black Three Stripes, and a shell toe, pre-scuffed for a distressed, lived-in finish.
A GORE-TEX lining runs beneath the upper, turning the Superstar in something ready for the rain season. Gold “Superstar” lettering and heel branding add a layer of refinement and luxury. The signature “G-SNK” twist. The black stripes and heel tab show a glow-in-the-dark snakeskin pattern, a reference to atmos’ cult “G-SNK” lineage. Inside, a small “Designed in Tokyo” tag ties the story together.
