CLOT and MEGA SPACE MOLLY bring traditional Chinese culture into streetwear with their latest collaboration, FORTUNE. Drawing on CLOT’s signature Silk Royale patterns and the symbolism of mahjong, the collection reimagines the SPACE MOLLY character through a playful mix of Eastern heritage, collectible design and street culture. Spanning oversized figures, model kits, wearable accessories and lifestyle objects, the release explores the idea of good fortune through a series of references that connect traditional symbolism with modern design.
The collaboration received an early showcase on 14 October 2026 at the newslh unveiled CLOT CANTON CAFE. More than a backdrop for the release, the new space reflects the cultural exchange behind the project. Traditional Chinese elements sit alongside CLOT’s signature Silk Royale patterns, creating a balance between Eastern design influences and the brand’s industrial streetwear aesthetic. The collection takes centre stage in the space, offering an early look at how its different pieces bring these references together.
Edison Chen Brings Eastern Heritage Into Streetwear
The collection draws on CLOT’s classic Silk Royale patterns and mahjong symbols, combining traditional Chinese elements with street culture through SPACE MOLLY’s distinctive form. Its Chinese name, “Gang Shang Kai Fa（槓上開發)”, plays on “Gang Shang Kai Hua”, a mahjong expression associated with an unexpected winning turn. The character “Fa” (發), which evokes prosperity, expresses a wish for good fortune and gives a traditional cultural reference a contemporary design expression.
At the centre of the release are the MEGA SPACE MOLLY 1000% CLOT FORTUNE and MEGA SPACE MOLLY 400% CLOT FORTUNE figures. Both versions feature a removable illuminated sign displaying the Chinese character “Fa” (發) bringing the collection’s central message directly into the design.
The collaboration also introduces an important first for MEGA with the MEGA SPACE MOLLY MODEL KITS CLOT FORTUNE series. The model kit features two interchangeable sets of body components, allowing collectors to change the figure’s appearance. Touch-activated lighting adds an interactive element, illuminating with a gentle tap.
For something smaller, the MEGA SPACE MOLLY × CLOT FORTUNE VINYL PENDANT translates the character into a wearable accessory. Inspired by CLOT’s signature apparel design language, it features a fabric hoodie, rotating visor and poseable arms and legs.
From the Mahjong Table to Everyday Objects
The FORTUNE collection extends beyond figures and pendants, bringing its design language into a selection of lifestyle accessories. The MEGA SPACE MOLLY x CLOT FORTUNE INCENSE BURNER combines ceramic and metal elements, with a lid, dish and base that can be arranged in different combinations. Its design draws on the elegance of traditional Chinese objects.
THE MEGA SPACE MOLLY x CLOG FORTUNE DICE BAG SET takes a playful approach. Multiple materials create a richly textured finish, while its long strap can also be used independently as a seperate styling detail. The MEGA SPACE MOLLY x CLOT FORTUNE DICE PENDANF conginues the theme through a metallic finish and Eastern-inspired motif, inside, four removable dice offer different ways to interact with the piece.
