adidas Originals has long proven it knows how to have fun with collaborations, and its ongoing partnership with The Simpsons is a prime example.
This time, the spotlight is on the Forum Low, reimagined through the lens of Springfield’s iconic alien duo, Kang and Kodos. Dubbed the “Kang & Kodos” edition, the sneaker continues adidas’ Treehouse of Horror series.
The retro basketball silhouette is dressed in a palette of “Lime Burst,” “Green,” and “Semi Court Green” tones, layered to mirror the eerie glow of the extraterrestrial duo.
Darker shades settle across the midsole and Three Stripes, while lighter panels lift the contrast for balance. The real showpiece, however, is the oversized alien eye graphic stamped on the tongue, a direct nod to Kang and Kodos’ unmistakable features. It’s these small yet effective touches that make the sneaker feel more like a collectible than just another release.
adidas has also gone the extra mile with the packaging. The box arrives coated in slime-green finishes, complete with tentacle illustrations and Treehouse of Horror branding.
