Arriving like a winter-to-spring crossover capsule, the OAMC x WTAPS x Vans collection introduces three silhouettes built with a noticeably tougher, more weather-ready construction than previous link-ups from any of the brands. WTAPS and Vans have collaborated plenty over the years, but the addition of OAMC gives this drop a sharpened, almost architectural sense of structure.
The Seylynn is the clearest example of that refinement. The shoe now sits on a thick lugged sole designed to grip icy pavements, instantly giving the model a more tactical, utility-driven personality. The canvas around the eyelets has been reinforced for durability, while the more deliberate panel cuts make the silhouette look like it’s been re-engineered rather than merely re-coloured.
Joining the two Seylynn pairs is a Sk8-Hi, which receives the same chunky outsole treatment. WTAPS directs the palette, leaning into its longstanding military influences with a beige camouflage for the Sk8-Hi and a medium camo for one of the Seylynn options. The third pair, an all-black Seylynn, feels like the sleeper hit of the collection.
