“No War, No Problemo.”
This Fall/Winter ’25, Alpha Industries joins forces with Aries’ sub-project No Problemo for a bold reinterpretation of the iconic MA-1 Bomber Jacket. Arriving in sage green and black, the collaboration draws on the shared DNA of both brands: Alpha’s military-born utility and No Problemo’s subversive, punk-rooted design language. At its core, the jacket embodies tension and transformation, a garment engineered for the field, reimagined with a message for the streets.

The MA-1 Legacy
The MA-1 Bomber, also known as the MA-1 Flight Jacket, was first developed by the U.S. military in the 1950s. Alongside its predecessor, the B-15, it answered the new demands of jet aircraft by prioritizing pilot safety, performance, and comfort. Over time, the jacket transcended its original use, becoming a global style staple.
Today, the MA-1 is embraced from the United States to Japan, the UK, Europe, and Australia. Originally manufactured in the traditional military colorways, modern iterations span a spectrum of shades, proof of its evolution from cockpit gear to cultural icon. Beloved for its warmth, comfort, and versatility, the MA-1 remains a benchmark for functional outerwear.

The Collaboration
The Alpha Industries x No Problemo MA-1 doesn’t shy away from making a statement. Built on Alpha’s flight-tested silhouette, it layers cultural commentary into its design. A reconfigured peace symbol stretches across the back, subtly distorted, familiar yet unsettling. The effect nods to punk’s disruptive ethos and post-military rebellion.
Tonal branding on the sleeve reinforces stripped-back utility, allowing the symbolism to speak louder than any logo. The campaign mirrors the jacket’s ethos: steady, minimal, purposeful. This isn’t fashion for fashion’s sake, it’s a uniform of conviction.

No Problemo
What began as a playful slogan at Aries, co-founded by Sofia Prantera and Fergus Purcell, has evolved into a fully realised brand. No Problemo officially launched in 2024, building on themes of protest, conspiracies, and alien iconography. The name carries a duality, casual on the surface, quietly radical underneath. Known for oversized fits, genderless design, and military-inspired silhouettes, No Problemo creates clothing that feels like a uniform for an alternate reality. Its influences stretch from sci-fi and vintage tech to workwear and the ancient world, blending typography, graphics, and cultural codes into a distinctive visual language. By stepping out of Aries’ shadow, No Problemo has carved a space that resonates with those who see clothing as a statement of resistance.
