For Lunar New Year 2026, adidas Originals and CLOT are back with a new capsule collection. Led by Edison Chen, the collaboration positions clothing as a medium for storytelling. The project focuses on the idea of unlocking potential.
Just as Lunar New Year traditionally marks renewal and a new fortune, this campaign puts Chen as a “key master” navigating an anime inspired universe, opening doors to future possibilities. This all happens in a multi-part series set to release throughout the year.
The Year of the Horse
At the focus of the collection is the Year of the Horse, a zodiac symbol associated with vitality, strength and independence. Chen draws on references from Kung Fu uniforms, traditional Chinese tailoring and Western sportswear. This places the garments in a traditional ceremony.
The Collection
The CLOT Track Jacket is one of the best garments in the collection. Created from 100% cotton twill. A Mandarin collar and frog button closures reference traditional Chinese garments, while Western-inspired deco details across the back adds more balance to the jacket. Rope-detailed applied 3-Stripes subtly reinterpret adidas’ most iconic branding. Rounded zip pockets maintain functionable.
Paired with the reworked Beckenbauer Track Pant, which are updated with custom Lunar New Year woven labels and herringbone elastic stirrups. These elements add a sense of control and precision to the collection. This is a key element found in martial arts training.
The CLOT Jacket in this collection is crafted from quilted crinkle nylon and insulated with PrimaLoft Gold Synthetic Fill Down for warmth. Edison Chen has cited this piece as his personal favourite, mainly due to arrangement of adidas stripes which form a distinctive collar pattern. Furthermore, the jacket is elevated using refined satin lining, satin braided rope accents and a Concho button closure. Dual snap-button hand pockets keep the piece practical.

The adidas Originals x CLOT Lunar New Year 2026 collection will be available globally from 31 January 2026, launching at select adidas retailers, the CLOT Chinese New Year Pop-Up in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, and through selected JUICE retail channels, like JUICE ONLINE via WeChat Mini Program and JUICESTORE.com
