Converse and New York-based label Noah have reunited for the latest chapter of their growing partnership, revealing a collaborative edition of the Louie Lopez 2 Pro. Following the success of theif Chuck 70 capsule earlier this year, the two brands return with a silhouette rooted in skateboarding, reworking Louie Lopez’s signature shoe through Noah’s design philosophy. The collaboration embraces restraint. Premium materials and subtle details are combined with a clean and simple colourway.
Built around Louie Lopez’s approach to skateboarding and Noah’s East Coast aesthetic, the collaboration reflects the shared values both brands have cultivated over the years through their commitment to skate culture, authenticity and thoughtful design.
An Interpretation of the Louie Lopez 2 PRO
At the heart of the collaboration is the Converse Louie Lopez 2 Pro, a performance skateboarding silhouette that combines durability and comfort without sacrificing the wearability or skateability.
For this edition, Noah dresses the sneaker in a rich green full-grain suede upper, giving the shoe a premium appearance while providing the durability required for multiple skate sessions. The luxurious suede construction adds a depth and some texture to the shoe.
Branding has been intentionally kept minimum all throughout. The iconic Converse Star Chevron appears as a series of perforations across the side panels instead of a stitched logo. Noah’s branding receives the same treatment, appearing as a subtle embossed logo across the tongue instead of dominating the design.
Built for Skateboarding, Designed for Everyday Life
Although the aesthetic leans heavily towards minimalism, the Louie Lopez 2 Pro retains all the technical elements that have made the silhouette one of Converse CONS’ standout skateboarding models.
The show continues to utilise its responsive cupsole construction, delivering excellent boardfeel while still providing the impact protection required for street skating. Its overall profile also incorporates design influences taken from Converse’s archive, taking details inspired by vintage track shoes, football boots and classic tennis silhouettes.
Second Noah x Converse Collab
While this only marks the second footwear release between Converse and Noah, the relationship between the two brands extends far beyond products.
Earlier this year, the labels collaborated on a Chuck 70 capsule that introduced Noah’s design aesthetic to one of Converse’s most iconic silhouettes. However, their partnership has long veen rooted in a shared appreciation for the communities surrounding skateboarding, surfing and music. These cultures have always been a big influence for both Converse and Noah.
Founded in 2015 by Brendon Babenzien and Estelle Bailey-Babenzien, Noah has consistently balanced premium fashion with a genuine connection to youth culture. That same approach is evident throughout its relationship with Converse, which has supported community-driven initiatives for a very long time.
One of the strongest examples of this philosophy can be found inside Noah’s Los Angeles flagship store, where Converse helped fund the construction of a fully skateable bowl.
The Campaign
Photographed by Quentin de Briey alonsgide film work by Paris-based videographer Ben Chadourne, the imagery captures the relaxed nature of Louie Lopez’s skating and the environment that continues to inspire both brands.
