nanamica Unveils Its Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection

nanamica has revealed its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, continuing its long-standing philosophy of creating timeless, functional clothing inspired by the idea that “One Ocean, All Lands”. Built around the concept of “Heart-warming Life-Tech Wear”, the new season blends advanced technical fabrics with understated design, offering versatile pieces made for everyday life while reinforcing the brand’s ongoing commitment to protecting the natural environment.

For AW26, nanamica looks to the rhythms of daily living, combining the calm of the sea, the practicality of sportswear and the character of vintage garments. The collection is divided into three core themes, each reflecting different moments of modern life while maintaining the brand’s signature balance of functionality, comfort and minimalist design.

Inspired by the sea

The first chapter, “Blown by the Sea Breeze”, captures the restorative feeling of spending time by the coast. Drawing inspiration from classic American athletic uniforms, the collection introduces relaxed outerwear crafted from innovative fabrics made using recycled fishing nets collected in Japan.

Standout pieces include an oversized A-line bench coat insulated with PRIMALOFT® Black, a ribbed quilted jacket filled with 100% recycled polyester, and a shorter-length down jacket featuring KODENSHI® Down, which uses far-infrared technology to help retain body warmth. The collection is united under the fictional OOAL (One Ocean, All Lands) club, reinforcing the idea of community while celebrating the connection between people and nature.

Environmental messaging also plays a central role, with organic cotton T-shirts and Ultrasuede® tote bags featuring graphics of endangered marine species. As part of the initiative, a portion of proceeds from OOAL products will be donated to the Nature Conservation Society of Japan to support marine conservation efforts.

A refined take on modern workwear

The second chapter, “Heading to the Office: The Freedom of the Breeze”, reimagines classic marine clothing for urban life. Traditional silhouettes, including fisherman-inspired duffle coats and deck jackets, are updated with technical materials such as WINDSTOPPER® liners and lightweight GORE-TEX fabrics, delivering weather protection without compromising on style.

Elsewhere, nanamica continues to refine its signature suit programme, pairing relaxed workwear-inspired jackets with wide-leg trousers featuring climbing-style webbing belts and newly developed metal buckles to reduce plastic use. Functional fabrics including cotton CORDURA® chino, weather cloth and back satin receive washed and stone-bio finishes, creating garments that feel naturally broken in while retaining modern performance.

Timeless essentials designed to last

Completing the collection is “Any Time Works”, a lineup centred around wardrobe staples designed to be worn for years. New silhouettes include regular straight-leg selvage denim jeans woven on traditional shuttle looms and lightweight baker trousers crafted from organic cotton and recycled polyester, both designed to develop character with wear.

Across the entire collection, nanamica continues to champion clothing that combines technical innovation with longevity, reinforcing its belief that thoughtful design can support both everyday living and a more sustainable future. With ocean-inspired colours of navy, grey, black, khaki and beige punctuated by sporty touches of red, the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection reflects the brand’s ongoing mission to create pieces that feel familiar, functional and built to last.
