This Slip-On takes the brand’s iconic checkerboard and softens it with small heart graphics integrated within the red squares. The upper is constructed from durable cotton canvas, allowing the print to sit clean and even across the vamp and side panels. Elastic side gores maintain the laceless structure, giving flexibility through the midfoot. The collar is lightly padded for comfort, while the interior lining stays neutral to keep the exterior print dominant. Underfoot, the white vulcanised midsole wraps cleanly around the base, finished with the signature rubber waffle outsole for grip and flexibility.
Authentic – White Canvas with Red Interior
A stripped-back execution of the Authentic silhouette. The upper is made from white canvas, stitched with tonal thread to maintain a uniform finish. The only contrast comes from the red textile lining and matching red footbed branding inside the shoe. White metal eyelets, flat cotton laces and traditional foxing tape preserve the Authentic’s original proportions. The construction remains classic Vans, with a lightweight canvas upper, vulcanised sole unit and textured waffle tread.
Authentic – Full Red Canvas
This version delivers a saturated red canvas upper from toe to heel. The colour block approach makes the silhouette feel bold without needing additional graphics. White laces and foxing tape create contrast against the red upper, while tonal stitching keeps the build clean. The insole branding matches the red theme, tying the palette together internally. As with all Authentics, the sole unit is vulcanised for flexibility and durability, finished with the classic waffle outsole.
Old Skool – Triple White Leather
The cleanest piece in the lineup. This Old Skool is executed entirely in white, constructed from smooth leather across the quarter panels, toe box and heel. The signature side stripe is tonal, blending into the upper rather than standing out. The padded collar supports the ankle, maintaining the silhouette’s skate functionality. A white vulcanised sole and waffle outsole complete the monochrome build. Compared to the canvas styles in the pack, the leather construction adds structure and durability while elevating the overall feel.
Slip-On Mule – Red Checkerboard
This backless variation of the Slip-On keeps the red checkerboard canvas upper intact while removing the heel counter for easy entry. The canvas remains lightweight and flexible. Elastic side panels ensure the shoe retains shape despite the open heel. A small red fabric pull tab assists with slip-on wear. The white rubber foxing and waffle outsole stay consistent with the rest of the pack, grounding the mule in traditional Vans construction.
Infant Slip-On – Red Checkerboard
Scaled down but built the same way. The infant version mirrors the adult checkerboard Slip-On, using canvas across the upper with elastic side inserts for flexibility. Proportions are adjusted for smaller sizing, but the vulcanised sole and waffle tread remain intact. Branding on the heel tab and insole stays consistent with the mainline models.
