Nike SB continues its exploration of hybrid design with the upcoming Nike SB Air Max 95 “black white”, a clean and technical reinterpretation of the classic Air Max silhouette through a skateboarding lens.
Arriving in spring 2026, this release marks the third collaboration between nike sb and the iconic Air Max 95, pushing the boundaries between sport and skate performance.
This new colourway leans into minimalism, arriving in a blend of black, white, and anthracite. the layered upper retains the signature ripple design of the original 95 but now features a smooth gradient transition from anthracite at the base to black near the collar. It’s a subtle yet impactful design choice that keeps the look versatile for both skateparks and city streets.
White detailing adds a sharp contrast, highlighting the tongue branding and the miniature swoosh at the heel. the black midsole houses visible air units in the heel and forefoot, staying true to the silhouette’s running roots.
While originally engineered for comfort over distance, the cushioning system has been tuned by Nike SB for shock absorption and enhanced boardfeel, crucial for technical skating.
Materials across the upper have been reworked for skating, with suede and mesh elements combining breathability and toughness. The outsole maintains the original’s aggressive traction pattern but with a modified rubber compound for better grip on grip tape.
