XLIM x Alex Zono Explore the Connection Between Running and Urban Life

XLIM and Alex Zono come together for a collaborative collection inspired by the image of flowers pushing through concrete. Exploring the resilience of nature within the city, the partnership connects urban life with the movement, emotion and personal stories that surround running.

The collection brings XLIM’s experimental approach to multipurpose fabrics and urban living to Alex Zono’s playful, sentimental world. At its core, the collaboration explores the relationship between function and feeling, combining tactile materials and considered details with the spirit of I DIG RUNNING. The resulting pieces are designed to move with the wearer, becoming part of everyday routines.

Clothing Shaped by Movement and Memory

Both brands share an interest in clothing as a reflection of lived experience. For Alex Zono, running provides the foundation for the stories expressed through the collection, informing pieces made to be worn, used and gradually made personal. The focus extends beyond technical function, considering how clothing can capture memories, movement and the environments people inhabit.

XLIM approaches the collaboration through its interest in translating the natural world and surroundings into different forms of art. That perspective meets Alex Zono’s emotional approach to running, bringing together urban utility and a more expressive visual language. The blooming flower motif becomes a central reference, symbolising nature’s ability to find space and grow even within the rigid structures of the city.

T-shirts, Headwear and Running Accessories

The collection comprises three T-shirts in black, brown and lime, alongside three hats in charcoal, blue and brown. Two bandanas, available in yellow and black, feature the blooming motif, extending the collaboration’s central theme across the accessories range.

Two apple watch straps complete the offering, bringing the collection’s running inspiration into everyday use. Designed to track every kilometre, the straps connect the project’s visual identity with the practical routines of running, reinforing the relationship between clothing, movement and lived experience.
