ROA x Wrangler Disappear Into the Woods

ROA and Wrangler are heading back into the forest for their second collaboration, reworking classic denim through a meeting of outdoor performance and workwear. For FW26, the two brands introduce an owl-inspired camouflage pattern that takes its cues from the way the birds disappear into tree branches and bark, leaving only their eyes visible. The result brings a new visual identity to Wrangler’s denim silhouettes, viewed through ROA’s technical, outdoors-focused perspective.

The collection focuses on washed cotton denim, with the Owl pattern appearing across cargo trousers, a hooded jacket and accessories. Available in Owl Dark and Owl Light, the camouflage shifts between darker woodland tones and a lighter interpretation, giving the garments different ways to blend into their surroundings. Camouflage isn’t just used as a simple military reference by ROA and Wrangler tho, the brands draw on the natural world, translating the textures of the forest into clothing.

Denim Built Around Function

The ROA x Wrangler Denim Cargo leads the collection in both Owl colourways. Its relaxed fit is paired with embroidered contrast rivets as the pockets and double knees, while topstitched logos on the back pockets and collaborative branding reinforce the garment’s workwear roots. The Denim Hooded Jacket follows in washed cotton denim with an all-over Owl Dark pattern, finished with embroidered ROA and Wrangler details.

The Jersey Long Sleeve brings the same dark camouflage to a lighter cotton layer, while the Denim 6 Panel Cap comes in both the Owl Dark as well as the Owl Light colourways with an adjustable back clip. The Baby Zip-Up takes the lighter pattern in a different direction, using a slim, cropped fit, ribbed finishes and an adjustable hood. Together, the pieces balance recognisable workwear shapes with the technical sensibility that defines ROA.

A Lumberjack’s Daily Discipline

The campaign is directed by Enea Colombi and photographed by Gabriela Pizzol, it follows Edvin, a 26-year old forestry teacher from northern Sweden, as he prepares for a professional Lumberjack championship. Moving between the woods, travel and the precise work of sharpening his competition axe, Edvin embodies a routine build around endurance, skill and repetition.

His environment becomes an extension of the collection’s central idea. The forests of northern Sweden provide the inspiration for the owl camouflage, while Edvin’s daily practice connects the garments to the physical demands of working outdoors. Clothing becomes part of a working routine instead of something that’s used to make a statement.

The ROA x Wrangler 2.0 FW26 capsule collection is available through ROA and Wrangler’s online channels, alongside selected global retailers.
