Slawn, Halo and Xbox Bring Beau Beau’s Campaign to Life in London

Slawn, Halo and Xbox joined forces for an unforgettable weekend activation at London’s Truman Brewery, transforming the space into a celebration of art, gaming and culture powered by Slawn’s café, Beau Beaus.

Launching with an exclusive invite-only VIP evening on Friday, the experience brought together creatives and industry figures for a first look at the collaboration. Guests were treated to a live painting session led by the Slawn, the artist himself, alongside gaming experiences, entertainment and limited-edition surprises inspired by the world of Halo.

The activation opened to the public throughout Saturday and Sunday, giving visitors the opportunity to step inside the world of Halo, experience the collaboration first-hand and play the latest Halo: Campaign Evolved title on Xbox consoles. Alongside this gaming experience, attendees could enjoy free matcha from Beau Beaus. 

Slawn Brings His Signature Style to Halo and Xbox

Slawn has become one of the most influential creative figures in contemporary culture, thanks to his bold, expressive artwork and instantly recognisable line-heavy style. His impact can be seen across art, fashion, culture, music and sport. Slawn is also the youngest artist to design the British Award in 2023, he has collaborated with legendary icons such as SZA, Beyoncé and A$AP Rocky and created work connected go Formula 1, the FA Cup and the NFL.

For the Halo collaboration, Slawn applied his distinctive visual language to both the Xbox console and controller, completely transforming the gaming hardware into pieces of artwork. His designs were also translated across a limited selection of Halo x Slawn merchandise pieces, available exclusively through the pop-up via QR code.

Artworks Inspired by Halo

The original artworks draw inspiration from the Halo universe, featuring references to the franchise’s creatures and enemies, alongside nods to the Xbox Nexus logo.

Adding another layer to the experience, the activation also featured work from Slawn’s collaborator, visual artist and musician Kida Kudz. Known for his vibrant use of colour and dynamic compositions, Kida Kudz’s pieces complemented Slawn’s graphic-driven artwork.
