Freddie Peacock and Dave’s Hot Chicken Celebrate Football Through Art

As anticipation continues to build around the world’s biggest football tournament, emerging British artist Freddie Peacock partnered with Dave’s Hot Chicken for a unique community-led event that brought together football, food and creativity, all under one roof.

Hosted at Dave’s Hot Chicken’s flagship Oxford Circus location, the workshop transformed the restaurant into a creative hub for the evening, welcoming football fans, local creatives and members of the wider community to celebrate the global spirit of the game through art. Guests were invited to produce their own football-inspired pieces, drawing on the passion and emotion that the World Cup generates around the globe.

The event also added a competitive element, with contestants submitting their artwork for judging throughout the evening. The winning piece was awarded a Dave’s Hot Chicken gift voucher.

A Meeting of Community

Since being named Zari Gallery’s Young Emerging Artisy of the Year in 2023, Freddie Peacock has established himself as one of the most exciting voices within the UK art scene. His work has attracted attention from institutions and brands like Central Saint Martins, Louis Vuitton and the Saatchi Gallery, while publications such as BBC, Culted and GUAP have highlighted his growing influence within contemporary culture.

Dave’s Hot Chicken was founded in Los Angeles in 2017 by three childhood friends, and the brand has since grown into a global phenomenon, building a loyal following through its signature Nashville-style hot chicken and customisable spice levels.
