The Merrell 1TRL line has never been about tearing things up and starting again. Instead, it’s about adding depth to what’s already there, taking designs that carry history and reworking them with intent, richness and a touch of modernity. For Autumn/Winter 2025, that mindset continues to hold strong. It is about evolving a story, step by step, into something that feels premium, but still true to the Merrell’s heritage.
This season Merrell chose to use a seasonal colour palette. Core tones of black, brown, off-white and tan give the collection a classic base. Into that, deeper shades of enerald and ruby are woven, flashes of colour that feel like intentional and precious details. Materials follow suit: full-grain lathers, soft suedes and brushed textures.
The Moab 2 Remix
At the centre of the collection is the Moab 2 Remix. For years, the Moab has been one of Merrell’s most recognizable silhouettes. The shape remains similar in this new version, but the finish tells a new story. An asymmetric upper is built from premium leather and suede.
The Jungle Moc Twist
The Jungle Moc Twist is where 1TRL’s playful sides comes out. It takes two shoes that already have their own legacy, the Jungle Moc and the Mangrove Moc, and fuses them into something fresh. The comfort of the Jungle Moc remains, but merges with the Mangrove distinctive Webbing-like upper.
The Cham Redux
The Cham Redux returns as well, now in its second season. What makes this model stand out is the way it balances contrast: plush leather sits against tough mesh. This model best describes what Merrell does best: pushing function into new territories without losing sign of functionality.
What Comes Next
