KEEN x PHILEO Targher PHILEO

The KEEN x PHILEO Targher PHILEO marks the beginning of a multi-season partnership that unites two very different but aligned design worlds. On one end, KEEN’s long-standing outdoor heritage covered in functionality and durability, on the other side is Philéo Landowski’s conceptual Paris-based label, known for pushing footwear into experimental terrain. Since its founding in 2019, PHILEO has built a reputation around curiosity-driven design, which perfectly aligns with KEEN’s “Consciously Created” philosophy.

The collaboration focuses on the Targher PHILEO, a hybrid silhouette that combines two of KEEN’s most iconic models, the Targhee hiking boot and the Jasper sneaker. The structure leans into the Targhee, to provide its rugged outdoor-ready foundation, while the u-throat lacing system was taken from the Jasper. PHILEO reworks the construction through an inside-out design approach, exposing elements that would otherwise be hidden.

That design language is what sets this shoe apart. The exposed heel counter, the reverse side of the leather on the tongue, and the externalised stitching are all visible now. The upper is made from premium, ethnically sourced leather, coming from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group. The finish is almost completely tonal, while the contrast stitching add a recognisable element across key panels. A small red PHILEO flag sits on the upper to lock in the collaboration.
