A month out from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and brands are rolling out their themed products for both competition and lifestyle. One of the most anticipated drops of 2024 is the Nike SB PS8.

Nike SB Dunks have remained dominant over the past year, with releases from Futura, Born x Raised, and April Skateboards, all embracing the crossover between skate culture and streetwear. As the 2024 Olympics approach, Nike has shifted focus to performance skating, introducing the Nike SB PS8. Confirmed for a Paris-centric colorway, this new model is set to drop soon.

Originally revealed during Nike’s ‘On Air’ event in Paris, the Nike SB PS8 marks a significant step forward for skate shoes. The name, shorthand for Problem Solver 8, reflects its design to tackle eight common issues found in skate shoes and Nike SB products.

Design and Colorway: Paris Olympics Inspired

The Safari-inspired, Paris-themed colorway is part of the wider Paris-themed SB Pack, which includes a Janoski and SB Dunk. Familiar hues of orange and blue grace the uppers, with orange on the sock liner and underfoot, and blue on the laces and midsoles. The leather panelling sports the signature spotted pattern, while the uppers remain understated in ‘Sail.’
