Stüssy x Nike Baltoro “Black/White”

The long-absent Nike Baltoro makes its long-awaited return, revived by Stüssy in a sharp and understated “Black/White” colourway. Originally launched in 1990 as part of Nike’s ACG (All Conditions Gear) range, the Baltoro was a rugged, purpose-built hiking boot designed for the outdoors, a shoe made to endure alpine climbs and trail runs.

The all-black leather upper immediately grounds the shoe in simplicity and versatility, while the crisp white Swoosh provides a sharp contrast that flips the traditional hiking palette. The co-branding appears subtly: Stüssy’s script logo replaces the ACG mark on the heel, while speckled detailing across the midsole nods to the shoe’s outdoor heritage. A custom co-branded box completes the presentation.

Despite its refined aesthetic, the Baltoro hasn’t lost its utility. Its robust sole unit and trail-grade traction remain intact, offering functionality that underpins its new city-ready guise. This makes it one of those rare collaborations that successfully bridges the gap between performance gear and everyday streetwear.

The Stüssy x Nike Baltoro “Black/White” continues the Californian label’s feel for reviving forgotten Nike silhouettes a practice that began with the Spiridon Cage 2 and Air Max 2013.
