Saucony continues to mine its running archive for SS26, reintroducing the Saucony ProGrid Guide 7 as part of its growing Sportstyle offering. Originally launched in the early 2010s as a stability-focused running shoe, the Guide 7 returns with its performance DNA intact, now reimagined through a lifestyle lens.
Construction and Materials
At the heart of the ProGrid Guide 7 sits its layered upper construction. A breathable open mesh base forms the foundation, allowing airflow across the forefoot and midfoot, while the synthetic overlays add structure. These overlays follow the lines of the original performance design, reinforcing key areas of the foot for stability.
This interplay between mesh and synthetic panelling creates a distinctive early-2010s running aesthetic. The tongur and collar are lightly padded for comfort, while the lacing system integrates seamlessly into the upper. Underfoot, Saucony ProGrid cushioning system remains the key feature. Engineered to absorb impact and distribute pressure.
Seven Colourways
This season Saucony offers the ProGrid Guide 7 in seven colourways, each offering a different interpretation of the ProGrid design language. All pairs feature a clean coloured mesh with colourful overlays. Ranging from colourful splashes of colours on the heel, side panels and toe, to more neutral colours. Saucony has chosen for the following colourways:
- Black/Multi
- Black/Silver
- Grey/Aqua
- Onyx/Gold
- Oyster/Navy
- White Black
- White/Multi
